Nursing vs PA?

I've been thinking about this for a while and need input. I was pre-medicine, and decided that the route was not for me and do not want to spend 10-12 years in school. But I look for nursing (or Crna NP), or PA. I work in Pediatrics, Women's Health and Oncology. I do not care for operations. Flexiblility I want in my work. I basically just want to help people, and as my job. I'm torn between the PA / NP, because they seem so similar, I do not know the way to go! I just finished my first year (pre-med reqs taken). So I'm still very open to any of the NP or PA. I'm more inclined to the AP BC is a medical model. But I'm thinking of doing the complete BSN PA requests, so let's say that did not go into PA school, you may still have a good job as a nurse and have the opportunity to get my NP. I do not like the idea of having a broad background in biology or psychology and not get into PA school and have no idea what kind of work
